About our Tests

All StoTherm external wall insulation systems are independently tested and verified for hard body impact and perforation resistance. StoTherm Classic continues to define the genre with a market leading impact resistance of 60 joules. We think we can improve on this, and our labs are continually competing against their legacy of innovation to do just this.

About the System

StoTherm Classic’s outstanding performance is thanks to a well thought out combination of components. The system comprises:

• Sto EPS expanded polystyrene insulation boards are lightweight, easy to work with and offer excellent U Values
• StoArmat Classic, an extremely thin and highly flexible intermediate render coat
• Sto-Glass Fibre Mesh, a high-strength reinforcing mesh to minimise risks of cracking
• Sto render top coats (a range of innovative top coats are available to suit the purpose of the project)
